Super Sunday

Yesterday was a legendary day to watch sports but I'm not talking about the Super Bowl. I'm actually talking about Women's College Basketball. With March Madness right around the corner there were four games of interest yesterday. The two headliners out the four, South Carolina vs Connecticut and Iowa vs Nebraska. The Iowa vs Nebraska game had the most implications following the game. One, Caitlin Clark came 8 points shy of breaking the all time women's NCAA scoring record. But more importantly her #2 ranked team lost to I ranked Nebraska team. In the next game, the South Carolina Gamecocks reminded us of just who they are #1 team in Women's collegiate basketball. While the #11 Connecticut Huskies showed us who they were. An undermanned and less talented team that looked outmatched the entire game. I'm very interested to see what adjustments teams make going forward in preparation for March Madness. Because right now it's looking like South Carolina and everyone else.
